The Chinchorro Wayuu Patuash Blue Flowers XXL is one of the finest hammocks woven with the one of the most complex double faced technique.

This hammock is the most difficult to weave therefor the one of the most expensive pieces in the hammocks world; Its value is equivalent to the price of a grown up healthy fat cow as indicated by the artisans of La Guajira.

The base color of this chinchorro or Wayuu hammock is a blue sea and the most remarkable is its fringe with very elaborate coloured flowers.

The "chinchorros," made by the indigenous of the dessert of La Guajira are considered as the real jewels of the crown.

These handmade, family size hammocks are in all senses the most elaborated and impressive hammocks.

It can take the artisans between 2 and 6 month of very specialized handwork to finish one of these beautiful hammocks, depending on the techniques applied.

Los chinchorros of the Wayuu are our most expensive hammocks but considering the hand labour, high quality, the amount of material (6kg) and the absolute exclusivity of every chinchorro explains it all: a collector’s item that will last (more than) a lifetime!

Width: 220cm Max capacity: 250kg
Hanging height: 180cm Hanging distance: min. 400cm
Tension ropes: 30 Material:
miratex and cotton
