We recommend always using quality rope (nautical, climbing).

The use of rope fulfills two functions: to achieve the necessary distance to adapt the hammock to any space and to prevent deterioration of the eye of the hammock.

For hammocks we recommend 1.5-2m on each side. 

For hanging chairs minimum 2 meters.
