In the Yucatan peninsula (Mexico), the Maya's developed a weaving technique for their hammocks similar to the technique of the Indians deep in the Amazon jungle .These hammocks look like colourful fishing nets, with the crucial difference, that there is not one knot in the net itself, so it has a very high flexibility.
